Our Mission

At Cardzilla, we’re all about making trading card accessories that truly stand out. We’re not interested in just slapping a new logo on the same generic products you’ve seen before. Instead, we’re here to design unique, high-quality, and innovative solutions that solve real problems for players like us.

We started this company because we love trading card games, and we wanted better storage options that fit the way we actually play. Our goal? To redefine TCG accessories and make products that feel as exciting as cracking open a fresh booster pack.

Our Story

Cardzilla started as a bit of an accident—just three friends trying something new.

We (Zach, Cade, and Devon) are lifelong Magic: The Gathering fans, and at first, we tried sharing our love for the game through a podcast called MTG OnCommand. Turns out, we’re not exactly podcast people. So, after about a year, we went back to the drawing board.

One day, while in college, Cade and Devon were brainstorming ways to make some extra money. The idea? 3D print a deck box and throw it on Etsy—just for fun. Devon designed one, listed it, and before we knew it… someone actually bought it.

That one sale turned into hundreds, and soon we were running 10 3D printers nonstop, producing over 200 deck boxes a month from our small workspace.

As we grew, we realized our original name, MTG OnCommand, just wasn’t working. It was clunky, forgettable, and really limited us to just MTG. So, we rebranded as Cardzilla—a name that’s bold, fun, and memorable. Plus, let’s be real, a giant dinosaur made out of trading cards is way cooler than any podcast name we could’ve come up with.

Our Kickstarter launch blew us away—we hit our goal in just one hour and finished 456% funded. That success told us one thing: we’re onto something big.
